Bertin Exhibit at Vis

Organizers: Pierre Dragicevic, Charles Perin and Jean-Daniel Fekete

General Information

About this page

Vis 2014 will host an exhibit on Jacques Bertin, made possible with the support of Tableau Software. This page describes what we think we may be able to show at Bertin's exhibit. It is currently a very early draft and will be regularly updated.

General Theme

The purpose will be to show objects and documents about Jacques Bertin's legacy, with a focus on what is less known by the Vis community.

Sources

The exhibit will draw from two principal sources:

  • Archives de France: describe context
  • Archives Nationales: describe context
  • (perhaps) Bibliothèque Nationale.
