Hi! I'm Anne-Flore Cabouat

I am interested in designing data visualizations to support learning and inquiry, and in exploring how people make sense of such visual representations of data.

I am currently a PhD student in the Aviz team. For my thesis, I aim to understand what makes data visualizations easy or hard to read for people.

I obtained my Master’s degree in Learning Science at Université Paris Cité in 2024. Before returning to school in 2022, I worked for 14 years as a freelance graphic and pedagogical designer, having completed a bachelor’s degree at ésad Amiens in 2008.
