Project Presentation and Report

For your final project we expect 2 things, a demo (during the Exam) and a small report (due later in the week)

Demo/Final presentation

  • Your demo will take place on Thu 31/01 @ 13:30. The room number is different, it is *D101*.
  • You have a maximum of 10 minutes for the demo plus a maximum of 5 minutes for questions. This will count as the exam (33% of your mark)
  • Your demo should include a
    • 30s elevator pitch - who and what is your tool for
    • a short explanation of what the tool shows
    • a short demo of the possible interactions in the tool
    • a short demo of some of the most interesting things you found in the data

If your demo is a story, replace point 3 with the story you want to tell

Report

Your report will count as 1 assignment (22% of your mark) - it is due on Feb the 3rd by email

Your report should have:

  • 1 to 2 paragraphs that describes your project, it should contain the items 1+2 from your demo (who is it for, why is it build, how did you do it)
  • a visual representation of your tool:
    • _pdf_: this can be a series of screenshots with captions explaining what we see, and in the end include a 1-paragraph written description of interesting findings in your data (make sure to either refer back to screenshots or show new ones to demonstrate this). OR
    • _video_: with suitable explanations, either with captions or voice over of what we see, and in the end show some interesting findings in your data (with descriptions)
