The CSDL project deals with developing a collaborative environment for decision support by providing tools and methodologies at the best level for collaborative design of complex systems including preliminary design phase. It addresses technological challenges including the following:

  • Automatic handling of a hierarchy of interoperable alternative models
  • Mastering the tools to ensure the robustness of results concerning risks and uncertainties
  • Designing of techniques for scanning and interactive visualization to support decision-making

Evolutionary Visual Exploration

We have developed an innovative framework for Evolutionary Visual Exploration (EVE) that combines visual analysis with stochastic optimisation to aid the exploration of multidimensional datasets. To find out more about EVE and the prototype demonstrator tool EvoGraphDice, visit the project's page here.
